SYNOPSIS:

Toby temple, a superstar playboy, Hollywood top comedian. he gets any women he want. behind all his fame and awards, he's still a lonely guy with a tragic past, he slept every bimbo in the Hollywood to become a superstar.

Jill castle, luscious damsel, a heart broken women who came to Hollywood with a hope of becoming an actress someday, but instead she become prey to libido driven producers.

after sharing the bed with half of Hollywood producers and cds, she waited for her revenge ,that's when toby meet jill.

A STRANGER IN MIRROR:

One of sheldon's early works, completely gripping and fast paced, multidimenstional character development , sub stories, thrill, you can sense the zest rushing while reading.

After reading half the way through the book you would start feeling sorry for jill. toby on a otherhand portrayed as a emotionless playboy, jerk with a huge manhood. but he is indeed the good guy in this story and i never had sympathy for him.

the story is said to inspired by sidneys experience with groucho marx and erin fleming, and young readers won't have clue who they are.

language is simple, narration is fast paced, very gripping (typical sidney), narrative technique varies in few places, there are different types of narration all over the book, i completed the book in 3 days, fast reader may take a day or so.

if you don't get the title, it means that people change so much that their own reflection seems to be a stranger to them. the story revolves around toby and jill, two ordinary people who a dream to become a movie star, but the struggles they been through, after certain point in their life their own identity look surreal.

OVERALL REVIEW:

A brilliant book, its always a pleasure in reading sidney sheldon. i would recommend it for mature audience, because the story has very explicit scenes, at certain place it seems like bodice ripper to me. predictable end.

my rating is 3 out of 5
