THE LAST OF FIREDRAKES:

A teenager growing in a mean foster family finds out she was from an another world .her real parents were killed by an evil queen. aurora's journey starts with learning magic and controlling her powers to regain her right to the throne.

Aurora, 16-year old, was kidnapped into this new unknown world and locked in the dungeons, she escapes with the help of  fairies and a black wolf, an outlaw who she ends up falling in love. she met his uncle and finds about her family and her responsibility to the kingdom and people.

If the story seems familiar because its textbook fantasy, a teenager who don't know about her power, an evil queen, fairies, wizards, pegasus, every ingredient you need for a fantasy story was added in extremely precise level.

Although this book was inspired by harry potter series, it feels so fresh and grasping, within first few chapter the debut author makes us spellbound to the book. Farah prisons us in the enchanting terrain of Avalonia with her luring words.

The writing is fast paced, narrated from aurora's perspective, her detailed writing about Avalonia is what makes this fantasy real. all the characters were so clear and easy to follow.

The only issue I had with the writing is the narration since it's via aurora's view and she was always in trouble and a state a panic, it's weird when the scenarios are detailed out when her life at risk, that too by herself. it reduces the authenticity of the characters.

Overall this book is so addictive and luring, recommended for everyone, will be an amazing treat to fantasy/harry potter lover.
