ONE LINE:  simple yet complex

First, i really thank the author for asking me to review his work. (really honored sir). also i apologize for taking this long  to review.

the author trusted me that i will give a honest review  and this is a honest review, i never meant to criticize this book or author. this book is his hard work and i respect that. the reviews are my opinions on what worked or what didn't for me while reading a book. i never meant to hurt anyone.

SYNOPSIS:

the story is basically about engineering students and their struggles in four years of engineering life. prakash and purvesh are the lead roles accompanied with many more like anand, akash, vipul, richa, abhimanyu etc.. (i lost count after certain period.). Richa, smiriti , revathi and another girl who looks like a model (sorry forgot her name)  are the female leads and love interest of purvesh and prakash

 FLAKE:

its a very good clean story, snapshots of life moments, author tired to give most of college life.

the narration is non-linear,didn't conclude on many characters, focused only on prakash, purvesh and anand. (i still wonder what happened to richa). the end is pretty rushed up.

vocabulary is too much for me, (i literally had a thesaurus with me while reading, may be i have a poor vocabulary skills). repetitions of words like ergo, ere, erelong is unbearable after certain point. and it doesn't fit the context in many times.

the author didn't use any hindi/kanada words,(note: i don't know hindi or kanada) many may praise him for that. but i think it reduced the life in characters.

dialogues are so artificial, conversations were like plays, it doesn't give you feel that you are reading a story about Indian college students. for me it really felt like Nat Geo documentary.

i don't know why most of Indian writers follow this method of using byzantine language (byzantine means complex). sometimes simple English will keep the readers tied to the book.

OVERALL :

a brilliant story spoiled by narration and over-crowded characters. i would recommend this book for all engineering students and engineers. also others who wants to kill some time and know new words.

my rating is 3 out of 5. i thought of giving 2, but the story is really beautiful, if you can see the actual story behind the chaos narration, you will really appreciate the book.

i wish the author more success in his career
