NOTE: if you are not interested in math and chemistry, u might found this book boring at some points.but still would had a great time.
SYNOPSIS:

when mars try to kill him all possible way.mark turns all the scrap into a lifesaver.
when the crew knows about marks survival the fly back to mars to save him.(with little bit help from china)
THE MARTIAN:
Desperate struggle of a man to stay alive in a near vacuum rusted planet is written brilliantly with hard sci-fi. although its not so complicated that you need to rub your head every time so chill off.except the math part. the language is simple,(no need for dictionary).
the character of mark watney is written as an optimistic extrovert. which made the book damn funny, u would be laughing out while gripping your chair.last few lines gives a warm message for all humans. that's the whole story is about.
it took two days for me to finish it down.(i have other stuffs too.), so a typical reader can finish it in 8 hours straight.
OVER-ALL THOUGHT:
a well written funny hardcore sci-fi. no wonder Hollywood thinking this as their second "GRAVITY".
only issue i have about this book is its too much funny in a way. you don't get the tension that a guys struggling for life. i don't know whether its a good thing or bad. definitely a must read book. damn sure u will have a good time.
my rating would be 4.5 out of 5.
